Developed and published by PopCap Games, Plants vs Zombies is a tower defense game originally available for PC platform only. The game was originally announced for Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X only but later on got ported on to Xbox Live arcade and Nintendo DS as well. The Nintendo DS version got released just today only. While the PC version of the Plants vs Zombies was released on May 5, 2009, The Xbox version was released earlier this month on September. And today it got released for Nintendo DS as well. As the name suggests, the gameplay allows the players to put different plants in order to defend his house from the attacks of the zombies. Different plants are placed at different locations with different abilities to defend zombies. The playing field has been divided into number of horizontal tracks which zombies move on to except few limitations, where the plants have been rooted in order to fight them.
