Developed by NetherRealm Studios, Warner Bros. has done it so beautifully to re-invent the classic 2D fighting gameplay of original Mortal Kombat. It has the deepest story mode among all fighting games. You won't see such a deep story mode in any other game of its class.
Mortal Kombat lets you form a team and play in the tag team match.
Wide range of iconic warriors to choose from. Choose your warrior and compete with your friends in either 1vs 1 matches or several new game modes introduced.
Tag team mode allows upto four players to compete.
There is a co-op arcade mode comprising of 2 players as a team.
There are several new game modes introduced through the return of this brand new Mortal Kombat game.

The game has been scheduled for release on April 19, 2011. Hopefully you will get Mortal Kombat free download before that. Developers NetherRealm Studios has confirmed the Mortal Kombat download (free) coming for both playstation 3 and xbox 360. The Xbox 360 Gold users can visit XBL after March 8 to get the free version. Similarly Playstation 3 Plus users can visit PSN to get Mortal Kombat free download. Other players can download Mortal Kombat free version starting March 15 onwards.
