Portal 2 PC version has been announced by Valve. Other than for PC, it is coming on to Xbox 360. It is a sequel to the popular 2007's video game Portal. Just like its predecessor, Portal 2 PC version is going to be equally attractive. Though this is going to be sequel version but this is not an expansion pack. It is a standalone version which will be available for purchase separately. However, when Portal 2 releases on PC, you will find many bundled offers from resellers such as Steam, Gamestop etc.

Portal 2 PC will feature single player as well as multiplayer modes. This is going to be a 2 player co-op multiplayer mode where players across the LANs can ally to compete against others. Developers have just tried to make the best use of Portal game engine through this game. Many new Puzzles have been introduced in Portal 2 PC version. There is a dynamic new character cast as well. Moreover, it lets you go through the never seen before experience of the Aperture Labs which has larger set of devious test chambers. Another good thing about Portal 2 PC version is that the player can reunite with GlaDOS in the single player mode. GLaDOS guided the players through the first game and is usually referred to as a muderous companion.

The two player co-op multiplayer mode of Portal 2 for PC is entirely different from the single player mode. It has entirely different storyline which is unique to it. Moreover it has its own test chambers and two new characters are included in the multiplayer mode exclusively. If you think you know everything about portals then this unique co-op mode is your official test. SPeciality of Portal 2 Pc multiplayer mode is that it just does not lets players act co-operatively but also think co-operatively.
