Update 2: Here is a great news regarding the Battlefield Bad COmpany 2 demo version. EA DICe has confirmed that the demo of Battlefield Bad Company 2 PC and other versions collectively have been downloaded more than 3.5 million times till date. By the way, last week these stats were 2.0 million downloads but reaching a 3.5 million downloads for Battlefield Bad Company 2 demo version is really a milestone achieved by DICE.

Update 1: Battlefield Bad Company 2 demo has already been released for PC and Xbox 360 and today has also released on Playstation Network. The North American PSN now hosts Battlefield Bad Company 2 demo as reported by EA and DICE. So just check http://www.us.playstation.com/PSN/Store to download Battlefield Bad Company 2 demo for PS3.

What will be there - Battlefield Bad Company 2 demo or beta? Not sure, we are also not. Actually it isn't sure if there will ever come Battlefield Bad Company 2 beta or demo, so it is quite difficult to comment on it. But we have got some words on it which pretty much confims the coming of BF:BC2 demo or beta version. If both of them wouldn't be there, one of them will be there atleast.

According to a blog post at official BF:BC2 blog, DICE has talked about Battlefield Bad Company 2 demo and beta version in the game faq. In an response to whether any of them will come up before the game actually comes out, Gordon VanDyke has mentioned to stay tuned and follow them on Twitter for future game developments which might include Battlefield Bad Company 2 demo or beta.

The full game is releasing in March, so it will be interesting to see Battlefield Bad Company 2 beta coming out in either January or February which are slow months from games sales point of view. Uncharted 2 Patch Update Deployed

The Uncharted 2 patch is out now. Naughty Dog Studios have released the first patch update for the game that saw a great hit on PSN. This is an Uncharted 2 title update released with the intentions of fixing some important issues occuring in the game. Along with the release of Uncharted 2 patch update, a double cash weekend is being celebrated. Players will be getting twice the cash award they normally gets during this double cash weekend for every match they play.

NHL 10 Patch this Week

NHL 10 patch is coming this week. EA has just announced the coming of NHL 10 patch that will be arriving any time this week. This is very critical update to the game title. Actually many freezing issues were found in the game and through this NHL 10 patch, EA has tried to fix many of them. For example, there's an exploit when shooting from below the face-off circle, it results in a goal more often than not. That issue has been now fixed through the NHL 10 patch. Another update made by the NHL Patch 10 are increased speed of passes with manual passing on, reduced the ability to boardplay players who are far away from you.

Here are some of the other main fixes made by NHL 10 patch update:

•Fixed the bug that would make a player sometimes exit pass blocking (L1/LT) when they got close to their goalie.
•Fixed the bug that would prevent offline Be a Pro player from getting ice-time in some situations.
•Fixed a crash that could happen on delayed penalty shots.
•Improved logic for how fighting affects teamplay scores in Be a Pro.
•Prevent L1/LT from allowing players to bypass stumble animations.
•Improvements to goalies to reduce 5-hole goals in some contexts.
•Tuned thresholds for injuries from hard shots.
•Added the ability to escape a prefight circle by pressing L2/LB.
•Fixed the bug that made it possible to "shoot" a puck slowly out of the one-handed animation such that nobody could pick it up.
•Improved goalie aggressiveness when poking the puck on cross-crease passes.
•Improved the ability of defencemen are able to do puck pickups behind them to help defend cross-crease passes.
•Reduced the ability to stuff the puck through the goalie by running into him without shooting (most common on wraparounds and reaching puck pickups).
•Reduced accidental interference in front of net.
•Fixed the offline Be a Pro line-change bug where the player is stuck at the bench.
•Prevent slap passes from being deflected at large angles.
•Fixed the bug where the goalie does not react to a shot if he's banging his stick on the ice to signal the end of a penalty.
•Fixed the bug that makes flip dumps to the middle of the offensive zone go over the glass frequently.
•Fixed the bug that makes CPU center win draws to the the same side all of the time.
•Fixed the bug in the stat tracking of passing.
•Prevent accidental saucer passes after receiving the puck while trying to poke check (because both actions are on R1/RT).
•Tuning to reduce occurrence of tripping penalties when the player being tripped is stationary or moving slowly.
•Tuning to game logic to make it a little easier to stay up on the NHL team during 4-game trial in BAP.
•Many other changes to improve our ability to refine the gameplay tuning with via tuner sets.

Kalypso Media has announced Airline Tycoon 2 for PC, the next installment in the Airline Tycoon series by the developers. Just like truck tycoon, rail tycoon, Airline Tycoon 2 is an airline simulation game where players role is to manage the airline company to bring financial success. Just as in real world, as the manger of the airline company, player will be recruiting employees, managing staff, buy new aircrafts, flying new air routes and competing with other airlines. The final aim of the player in Airline Tycoon 2 PC is to bring financial success by making it the best airline among all.

Airline Tycoon has already been a big success among folks. Players were waiting for more action from the developers and without hurting their wishes, developers at Kalypso have come up with the announcement of Airline Tycoon 2 after dealing a great success with Tropico 3. Kalypso has long plans for upcoming years, and announcement of Airline Tycoon 2 will just strengthen their line up for the first quarter of 2011, as mentioned by Simon Hellwig, the Global Managing Director at Kalypso Media.

Realmforge Studio, the subsidiary of Kalypso, has been put up at the task of developing Airline Tycoon 2, while Kalypso will assoxiate itself with the publishing of the game. They are working hard on creating a game that will give you the same gameplay as you played in the original Airline Tycoon without loosing any charm of it. Need for Speed World Online Release Date Given

EA today gave the Need for Speed World Online release date. Though no exact release date could be given, it pretty much cleared that Need for Speed World Online will be releasing by the fall next year only. Need for Speed World Online release date has been set for fall 2010 because there is still lot to do with the game. Game is currently under active development and has to go through beta testing before making it live.

The beta testing will begin this winter in Taiwan and hence the Need for Speed World Online release date before fall 2010 is not possible. This is just a rough figure given by EA. Actual release date could go even further, if everything doesn't go as planned. Earlier also, EA has talked regarding Need for Speed World Online release date. At that time they told that the game will release in winter 2010 in North America, so it seems that the plans haven't changed much at EA regarding Need for Speed World Online release date.

Operation Flashpoint 2 Patch Coming Soon

Operation Flashpoint 2 patch is coming soon. Few days ago Codemasters revealed the Operation Flashpoint 2 Dragon Rising patch and now the words have came that this patch is due to release soon. The news has also come regarding the DLC. The DLC is also in development and is said to release simultaneously with Operation Flashpoint 2 patch.

Though Codemasters has confirmed that patch for Operation flashpoint 2 Dragon Rising is finalized to come soon but they didn't gave information about its release date. One of the developer at codemasters gave an interview to Eurogamer where he talked about upcoming Operation Flashpoint 2 patch. He mentioned the patch to release very soon, usually within weeks as opposed to months assumed earlier. Apart from talking about the Operation Flashpoint 2 patch and DLc, he also talked about other aspects of the game such as multiplayer mode, customer feedback, new missions etc. The full interview can be read here.

Borderlands Patch Applied

A new Borderlands Patch for PC is about to come. And also coming is a first downloadable content "Zombie Island of Dr. Ned" to the game. Not much details are available about the new Borderlands patch and DLC yet. Expect the details to arrive soon.

A patch has been applied to Borderlands before it gets released worldwide. The need for Borderlands patch arised because some issues were reported with the game during in-house testing. Developers wanted to fix those issues before launching the game outside US and hence the need for Borderlands patch.

Developers found long connection time and friend list issues while testing the game. The game has been due for release outside North America this friday and hopefully they have fixed friend list issue before that. The under-development Borderlands patch will soon fix another issue of long connection time as well.

Details about NBA 2K10 patch has emerged. 2K Sports has released the details about NBA 2K10 patch which is incoming. Developers have put lots of efforts in the patch assuring you to gte only those improvements that you have demanded for. The xbox 360 version of NBA 2K10 patch is still under development but is in final stage. Though details have emerged regarding the update but it is unknown when the patch will come out. Reason being that NBA 2K10 patch update has to go through internal testing befor eit can be made available to general audience. - Fixed an issue where users would get NBA Blacktop rules (no intentional fouls, no 3-in-the-key, etc.) turned on when attempting to play a Quick Game.
- In-game saves should now load up correctly in the Playoffs game mode.
- Users are now able to assign any jersey number to a player, on any team, when playing outside of The Association game mode.
- Games played in the NBA D-League should now have appropriate sized crowds.
- Fixed a slowdown issue during stoppages of play with created teams.

He further added that those interested in trying out the game should either get the game on rent or from their friends. • The achievements "We have no time to lose" and "The Emirate" have been adjusted. The Imperial Cathedral must now be built in 7 hrs and the Sultan's Mosque in 5 hrs (previously 8 hrs and 6 hrs). In return, the condition requiring the people's satisfaction level to be "adequately satisfied" or better was removed.

Vir2L Studios has given a Medieval Games release date. The game has been scheduled for Oct 20, 2009 release date, so you will be getting Medieval Games on your Nintendo Wii on October 20, 2009.

The game has been given E10+ rating by ESRB and has been named as honors winner in the prestigious 2009 NAPPA competition. On October 20, Medieval Games will release exclusively for Wii. WET 2 Plans Revealed
