Interesting thing about this game is that it is going to place in a city different than that in the previous game i.e. you are not going to see Liberty City in this game. Well GTA 4 might not be a big business for Rockstar but this doesn't stops Rockstar from making a next game in the franchise, Grand Theft Auto 5. Though not officially confirmed, but from sources close to the company, words about Grand Theft Auto 5 or in short GTA 5 have started coming. We don't have any actual details about Grand Theft Auto 5 and are presently believing on what is arising around.
Grand Theft Auto 5 release date had been discussed by Game Trailers earlier which the website said to be possible in 2010 only because Rockstar would be busy creating and publicizing DLC for the Grand Theft Auto 4 in 2009. This comes out to be absolutely true with the release of The Lost and Damned in February. Another DLC is being under development by the company which will release in coming months.
This means atleast by the last quarter of this year Grand theft Auto 5 (GTA 5) will definitely be not possible because Rockstar would never like to loose sales for GTA 4 which are short already. This can be further extended to mid 2010 taking into consideration that Rockstar will make official announcement of Grand Theft Auto 5 in last quarter, 2009 only. So expect Grand Theft Auto 5 to come out in third or fourth quarter of 2010 only.
