Battlefield 3 May come in 2009

It is not yet officially confirmed and no official details are available for it yet, but people at IGN has speculated that EA DICE will be rolling Battlefield 3 into the war field in 2009 only. They have also stated the reason why EA will be finishing the Battlefield 3 in 2009.

EA has finished off Battlefield: Bad Company and Mirror's Edge which are now out in the market and Battlefield: Heroes is almost close to launch, so DICE unit have enough time to work on Battlefield 3 in 2009. This is all that has been speculated at IGN 2009 Preview.

It will be a followup to Battlefield 2 that was released in 2005. For four years no game has come that can match what Battlefield 2 has offered other than Battlefield 2142. So Battlefield 3 is being looked upon with great speculations which can return the series to popular setting of modern warfare.
