Mirrors Edge PC Demo, No Mirror's Edge Demo for PC

Mirror's Edge for PC is going to be released on January 13 in North America and on January 16 in PAL countries. The game has already hit XBox 360 and PlayStation 3 platforms and is doing basically good over there. There is a Mirror's Edge demo released over these two console platforms doing equally good. This demo was released before the full game went live over consoles. But there hasn't been any Mirror's Edge PC demo released until now.

The demo for PC version is not released yet but there is certainly going to be a Mirror's Edge PC demo but when. When will EA and DICE be releasing Mirror's Edge PC demo? Game is heading soon towards PC and no Mirror's Edge demo release symptoms have been given by EA for the game. Less than a month is left in the Mirror's Edge PC release, so EA should have released the demo version of the game.

Some people are saying that Mirror's Edge PC demo will come out on the eve of the new year, so should we wait it as a new year surprise from Electronic Arts. Others are saying that there isn't going to be any demo for Mirror's Edge PC verion ever. To whom should we believe !

As far as I am concerned, I will believe on those who say Mirror's Edge demo for PC will be releasing as or by New Year, though not exactly on new year eve. There is no reason to believe in second type of persons who says there isn't going to be any Mirror's Edge PC demo. Mirror's Edge PC demo is going to be released and will definitely release. If there could be demo for Xbox 360 and PS3 versions then why not for the PC version. Moreover, much higher resolution is supported by PC games than by console games, so shouldn't you think EA will release demo for Mirror's Edge PC version.

But the thing to worry about is that no official news about PC demo is made yet. Neither EA nor the employees at DICE has said anything about Mirror's Edge PC demo. This is the thing worrying all of us a lot. Guys like me are searching for Mirror's Edge PC demo and are googling a lot about it but what could I say about these guys. These are guys who are really mad for ME demo.

When I was searching for the Mirror's Edge demo for the PC, I got one trick to play it on PC - by porting it from XBox 360. But I am not exactly sure on how to port demo from Xbox platform to the PC platform. May SDK be playing an important role in porting Mirror's Edge demo from XBox 360 to PC. Final words - let us be patient and hope that Mirror's Edge PC demo comes out. If it doesn't, then you too should port the demo from Microsoft console and start playing it over your PC.

Update: No Mirror's Edge PC demo is going to release ever. It has been almost a month now that the game released on PC and EA hasn't stated anything about releasing Mirror's Edge PC demo. So stop waiting for any demo for the PC version of the game, better go for a full game download. However if you are too keen to play the demo version, try converting XBox 360 demo into Mirror's Edge PC demo, but it is not the job of a novice.
