Pure is a Disney Interactive Studios off-road racing video game developed by Black Rock Studio. The game has been released on Windows, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 platforms. It was released in United States of America on September 16, 2008 while its European release is set for September 25, 2008. You can play Pure video game in both single player and multiplayer versions. As it is off-road racing game, so it also involves tricking with other players or CPU players while racing. Pure demo has been released free for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Pure demo for PC has also been released yet.
Pure is a game that you should play to see what it all is about. Its off road racing is amazing. You can easily trick your rivals in the game. All the vehicles in the game are All Terrain Vehicles which are perfectly designed for off-road trick racing. You can’t compare Pure with any Need for Speed games as there is a huge distinction between these two racing games. There is no trick racing at all in Need for Speed video games. While in Pure you can perform different tricks when racing. Though the aim of the player is to complete the race before others yet tricking is an important aspect of the game.
You can control tricks at the click of the button. Both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions are almost identical in playing. There is no major difference between two. You might have seen the similar trick system in SSX Series by Electronic Arts. There are three playable modes in the Pure racing game. In “Race” mode, you have to finish the race by reaching the finish line first. In “Sprint” mode, you have to reach the level within a certain time constraint. In “Freestyle” mode, you are free to do whatever tricks and stunts you want to do without considering time and reach. There are 12 locations with several racing tracks in the Pure. You can customize the player at your own if you want to. Pure multiplayer version can support up to 16 players at one time play.
