Stalker Clear Sky is the latest installment in the Stalker series of video games by GSC Game World. Developed and published by GSC Game World, Stalker Clear Sky is a first person role playing survival horror game for Microsoft Windows XP and Vista released on September 15, 2008 in United States of America. Available for play in both single player and multiplayer versions, Stalker Clear Sky can be either purchased on DVD or can be downloaded in full from Steam; a free game download service by Valve. Koch Media is associated with the DVD distribution of the game.

Modeled after Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl, it is a mix of new and old game elements. Plot for the game is set in the events prior to its prequel. Player assumes the role of Scar, mercenary who is given the task of eliminating stalker Strelok, a same old antagonist. Stalker: Clear sky is more energetic to play than its prequel. The game uses X-Ray graphics engine that has been updated to support DirectX 10 and advanced artificial intelligence feature. Support for DirectX 10 has made this game more exciting. Now there is more volume of fire, water, light and other such elements in the game.
