Lost Empire is a turn based strategy game just like Imperium Galactica. . But unlike other turn based strategy games, the plot for Lost Empire is set in the space of year 4620. The game was developed by Pollux Gamelabs and published by Paradox Interactive. The game has been designed by Fleming Pederson. It is available for Microsoft Windows platform only. Lost Empire has also have sci-fi game elements along with turn based strategy gameplay as it is set in sci-fi world of 4620. It is available in both single player modes and multiplayer mode that can be played online.

As the plot of the Lost Empire is set in the 47th century so technically game depicts very advance game elements. The game features seven major civilizations in space. Humans are also one of them. Player takes the charge of one of the seven civilizations in Lost Empire and leads that civilization to the victory by conquering the galaxy. Prior to the player’s role, all the seven civilizations had been almost destroyed by an unknown evil alien race. However, seven civilizations in Lost Empire are growing slowly and slowly but a powerful character Enais comes there way and tries to hinder there expansion plans.

Seven Civilizations depicted in Lost Empire are Humans, Tritons, Horde, Chi Lung, Megalanians, Crystal Spirits, and Alkiths. Unique fact about the civilizations is that all civilizations consider themselves superior then the other and Enais, a powerful god, is keeping eye on each of those races. In Lost Empire, even though Enais is a powerful personality, but player can kill her and lead to victory. Other ways to achieve victory are military dominations, diplomacy, research and culture. Lost Empire was released on 14 July, 2007 and it soon became a massive success.
