Tomb Raider: Legend is an action adventure based video game developed by Crystal Dynamics for Windows and Xbox and published by Eidos Interactive. PlayStation version is developed by Buzz Monkey Software and Nintendo GameCube and Nintendo DS by Human soft. Tomb Raider: Legend’s original name is Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Legend but commonly referred by the former name. Lara Croft is a woman who plays the central part in all of the Tomb Raider series of games. Tomb Raider: Legend is the seventh game of the series. It was released on 7 April, 2006.

Like other Lara Croft Tomb Raider games, story of Tomb Raider: Legend also revolves around Lara Croft. The aircraft in which Lara was traveling with her mother was crashed when she was just nine years old. Fortunately they were the only survivors in Himalayan plane crash. She discovers the artifact near the ancient temple in Tomb Raider: Legend. Activating the artifact disappear her mother from her eyes. Now years later she travels to Bolivia with the help of her two friends in order to find the same artifact as that was in Himalayas and activates the artifact after getting it. Then in Tomb Raider: Legend Rutland keeps on disrupting Lara Croft and makes her the anonymity of Amanda, her old friend.

For the artifact, Lara Croft has to several cities of the Legend. Her journey in Tomb Raider: Legend goes through Tiwanaku in Bolivia, Paraiso Tomb in Peru, Tokyo in Japan, Ghana in Africa, Kazakhstan, England, Nepal and Bolivia finally. Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Legend is the first game of the series to be released on the Nintendo GameCube and Microsoft Xbox. The original Xbox version didn’t include any intro video where as PlayStation 3 version has little extra features over Xbox version. Tomb Raider: Legend mobile version is also available. However the mobile version is limited to three levels only
