Counter Strike Online is the online version of Counter Strike: Condition Zero being developed by Nexon Corporation and to be published by Valve Corporation. It is the upcoming video game and its release date is not yet set. It is believed that the Counter Strike Online will be released by the end of the 2008. But the actual date is with the publishers only. We can just expect its release nothing else. The game is developed on Goldsrc game engine. You can't play Counter Strike for free online officially which is under development but the version listed below is free to play online Counter Strike.

Counter Strike Online is a first person shooter game just like other games of the Counter Strike series. As the game is the online version so it will be available in multiplayer mode only. You can play Counter Strike Online with 9 new weapons along with the weapons of the original Counter Strike. New weapons introduced include assault rifles, shot guns, and machine guns. Counter Strike Online play will also feature many new maps such as Tunnel, Camouflage, Camouflage 2, and REX.

Just like Counter Strike there will be two teams to play in Counter Strike Online version. One will be Terrorists and the other will be Counter Terrorists. Player can choose to play either of the roles. Ten new player models will also be injected in the Counter Strike Online. Each team will contain 5 models each.
