Crysis is developed by Crytek and marketed by Electronic Arts (EA). It was released in phases in different parts of the world. Crysis, actually, is a first person shooter (FPS) game and is the very popular game throughout the world in recent times. Crysis is released for Windows and Mac based PCs only. It isn’t released for console platforms like Xbox, Xbox 360, PlayStation 1, 2, 3 etc. In North America, the game was released on November 13, 2007, where as November 15 in Australia, November 16 in Europe, November 23 in New Zealand and November 29 in Japan. The current released version of Crysis PC game is 1.1 released on January 8, 2008.

The story of Crysis, like many other first person shooter games, is set in fictional city. The story takes place in the fictional place of August 2020 somewhere deep in the Earth where an ancient spacecraft of aliens have been discovered. Crysis PC version is available in both single player and multi player modes. Wow another game based on US army after America’s Army and its various versions. Player assumes the role of the United States Delta Force operator Jake Dunn. Jake Dunn is commonly referred to as Nomad. According to Crytek, crisis has been influenced by the United State’s Future Force Warrior Program 2020, so you can see lot of equipments and weapons used by the Nomad in the game that turns out to be the same as that in the Future Force Warrior Program.

There are four conflict locations set in the game where players need to fight with both against North Koreans, and some other enemies in Crysis PC game. These four conflict locations are the alien ship itself, US Navy aircraft carrier, Ice Sphere and island jungle. Nomad is armed with Nano Muscle Suit that consists of armor, strength, speed and clock. This suit also has an integral mask that is capable of showing tactical maps, and energy data. The Artificial Intelligence used in the Crysis game is also supposed to be more natural and sophisticated. Enemies are shown to be more intelligent and are shown to be more tactical than the player itself in the game that you can experience in the Crysis demo also.

Vehicles shown are in large number mostly for personal use by the players itself. Some of the notable vehicles are motorboats, hovercraft, pickup trucks, and tanks etc. Weapons in Crysis PC game are tactical first person shooter games styled weapons like assault rifles etc. In multiplayer mode, player can also purchase new and advanced weapons, by default, players are loaded nano suit and pistol only.
